  • “Myfriends online week” sees a variety of organisations hosting events for older people to engage with online technology. It focuses on the social benefits of the internet.
  • Age UK Digital Champions is an ongoing UK-wide drive to recruit digital champions of all ages and backgrounds.
  • The Age UK Internet Champion competition celebrates people over the age of 55 who have improved their lives through using the internet.

In collaboration with Microsoft, Age UK is offering to take and rebuild unwanted computer equipment. It will be used to support new technology users, local outreach programmes and Age UK’s work to help people in later life to experience the benefits of the internet.
